Hawkeye Hospitality, the team behind both Five Horses Taverns, Worden Hall, Elm Street Taproom, Matchplay Golf & Sports Lounge, and The Garrison House in Brookline Village are looking to expand our team with talented individuals who share our passion for hospitality. We are seeking qualified professionals who have experience with motivating and mentoring staff. As a restaurant group we strive to create a positive atmosphere, provide superior level of service, standards and quality. Worden Hall is conveniently located directly across from the Broadway T Stop.
Requirements:
- Over a year of bartending experience
- Able to work weekdays and weekends
- Night availability
General duties include but are not limited to:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner – Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or inquiries
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation
- Process payments and handle cash transactions using Toast POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tables simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience for guests
- Knowledge of culinary terms, ingredients, and menu items to assist with guest inquiries
- Proficient in using Toast POS system for order processing and payment handling
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
