Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join us as a Host/Hostess. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a pivotal role in setting the tone for their dining experience. Your welcoming demeanor, organizational skills, and ability to multitask will ensure that guests feel valued and attended to from the moment they step through our doors.
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their tables, ensuring a seamless seating process.
- Maintain a waitlist during peak hours, managing reservations and walk-in guests efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with servers and management to ensure smooth flow of service.
- Provide accurate wait times and offer alternatives when necessary to accommodate guest preferences.
- Keep the reception area clean and organized, maintaining a visually appealing environment.
- Assist with answering phones, taking reservations, and addressing guest inquiries in a professional manner.
- Uphold our standards of hospitality, making each guest feel valued and appreciated throughout their visit.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during busy periods.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer proficiency is a plus.
