Pagu’s May Class Schedule

PAGU

Graduation season may be on the horizon but classes are still in session at Pagu, where James Beard Award semi-finalist chef Tracy Chang and her team have unveiled their May schedule of culinary tutorials so you can spend a springy Saturday or Sunday afternoon honing your kitchen skills.

Reserve a seat in a Sushi class to learn the secret to perfect sushi rice and the art sushi forms and handrolls. Or sign on for a sesh on Noodles to dive into the science of hand-pulled noodles. If you’re a fan of small plates (and who isn’t, really?) grab a spot in the Tapas class where you’ll learn how to prepare a feast of snacks (aka pintxos) alongside classic dishes like paella and tortilla española. Or maybe Dim Sum is more your speed? Sign up to get schooled in everything from Gow Choi Gau (Chinese chive dumplings) and Siumai (shumai), to sticky rice and turnip cakes.

Check out the schedule below to see what’s in store and click through online here to reserve your seat. Classes are generally held from 12:00-2:00pm (unless otherwise noted) and cost $119 per person. Each session is capped at 15 students per class so you’ll have plenty of face time with Chang to ask questions, and you don’t need any prior cooking experience to attend. And of course, there’ll be plenty of good eats to try and take home.

If you have any Qs you can give them a ring at 617.945.9290 or if you want to chat about planning a private or corporate class (they offer those, too!) shoot them an email for more info. In the meantime, keep an eye on their IG for updates on upcoming tutorials on topics like BBQ, Gluten-free baking and more!
