Monte Verdi – Dining Room Manager

As our Dining Room Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests have a flawless dining experience. You will lead our team of wait staff and bussers, overseeing all aspects of front-of-house operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience for guests.
  • Manage wait staff and busser schedules, including training, development, and performance reviews.
  • Lead by example, providing excellent customer service and resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure the dining room is impeccably set up and maintained throughout service.
  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment for the front-of-house team.
  • Maintain clear communication between the dining room and kitchen staff.
  • Assist with inventory management and ensuring all tableware and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Handle cash transactions, credit cards, and ensure proper closing procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Proven experience in restaurant management, including scheduling, staff development, and conflict resolution.
  • In-depth knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines (a plus).
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
  • Event and catering experience is a plus.
