1928 Beacon Hill by Restaurateur Kristin Jenkins, debuted in November 2021 in Beacon Hill. The menu reflects elevated, seasonal, classic American fare. Our goal is to execute elevated home cooking using the highest quality ingredients and an extreme attention to detail – all while making each dish creative and approachable

Job(s) Summary:

BUSSERS: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the restaurant, including setting and clearing tables and creating a welcoming environment for customers. They also provide any necessary additional support to all back-of-house (BOH) and front-of-house (FOH) staff.

SERVERS: Responsible for direct interaction with guests, ability to explain the menus in depth, aware and knowledge of allergies, must have professional appearance and ability to communicate effectively. Must be willing to cooperate and works with the 1928 team. Must have availability, this is a full-time position. Create a wonderful experience for our guests from start to finish of their visit to 1928. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a high level, high volume establishment.

BARTENDERS: Responsible for full knowledge of both spirits and wine, and all things beverage, execution of classic cocktail program. Be neat and timely. Hosting a wonderful guest experience. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a high volume, high end establishment.

HOSTS & HOSTESSES: Responsible for calling guest reservations to confirm, seating guests as they arrive, Making guests feel taken care of upon walking in the door. Must have knowledge of Open Table


  • Experience in a full-service , high-end restaurant is preferred
  • Reliable and available must be able to attend & arrive for all scheduled work on time
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a team and take direction in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to sit, stand, traverse, etc. for up to 12 hours and lift to 50 lbs
