VIVI’s Tapas Bar is a brand-new lively and dynamic restaurant located right on Revere Beach. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations during nights, weekends, and holidays
- Execute hiring, training, scheduling, and managing of all staff members
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards in food, service, and ambiance. Handling customer complaints or concerns
- promptly and effectively to maintain a positive reputation for the restaurant
- Oversee a small but dynamic team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Utilize at least 3 years of previous Restaurant Manager experience in a high-volume setting
- Display grace, empathy, determination, and warmth in all interactions
- Maintain a professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
- Ensure positive guest service in all areas.
- Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues
- Exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence at every level
- Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback, establishing performance expectations, and conducting performance reviews
- Manage expenses, optimize profitability, monitor inventory levels, and analyze financial performance while identifying areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant management.
- Comfortable with mentoring team members, staff training, scheduling, POS operations, and experience with reservation platforms
- Proficient in cost analysis, and vendor management
- Self-starter with the ability to bring new ideas to the table
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work closely with the owner and operations manager
