A Tour of Loire at Forage

Forage Instagram

Let Forage sommelier & co-owner Stan Hilbert take you on a mini tour through some of his favorite Loire Valley vintages at his next Tuesday night wine dinner. On Tuesday, April 30th, Hilbert will be highlighting bottles from the celebrated region known as the Garden of France, which includes 55,000 hectares of vineyards and 800 kilometers of wine routes. You’ll get to try the evening’s wines alongside a four-course menu from Chef Eric Cooper. Just take your pick between the omnivore and vegetarian versions and you can be sitting down to plates like thin-sliced chilled pork loin with hollandaise, dandelion greens, peagreen pistou and couscous, or cassoulet with smoked & sherry braised tofu, garlicky maine sunset beans, celery root, spring onions and herby breadcrumbs. You can book a table in the dining room, or, if you’d prefer to enjoy your meal at home, you can place an order for take-out online here for a quick midweek trip to France.
