Cooking Live Comes to Cambridge

Cooking Live Boston

Calling all fans of Flavortown and “Iron Chef,” plan on being at the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel on Monday, May 20th for Cooking Live Boston. Iron Chef Ming Tsai’s glam fundraiser is back this year to take over the newly-renovated Serrano Ballroom and he’s bringing along the mayor of Flavortown himself, Guy Fieri, plus some beloved local faces like Joanne Chang (Myers + Chang, Flour), Ken Oringer (Toro, Coppa, Uni, Faccia y Faccia, Little Donkey, Verveine), Jay Hajj (Mike’s City Diner) and Adam Resnick (Kimpton Marlowe, Bambara) to create an amazing interactive multi-course meal that you won’t want to miss.

Proceeds from each $2,500 ticket directly benefits Family Reach, a nonprofit organization that supports families facing cancer with the financial burden of a diagnosis. Tsai has the goal of raising $1 million in one night to help folks facing a cancer diagnosis with non-medical financial support for things like staying in their homes and day-to-day necessities, and he’s raised more than $11 million to date for the cause (get your tickets here). Fieri said he is pumped to be a part of the action this year.

“I’m looking forward to joining Iron Chef Ming Tsai at an event that combines everything I love — good food and community,” said Fieri. “Cancer affects so many of us in so many ways and I’m honored to support and uplift patients and families any time I can.”

The party kicks off with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 5:30pm followed by dinner at 6:30pm.
