Liberty Tavern – Social Media Manager

Liberty Tavern is a fun and energetic restaurant in the heart of Quincy Center. Liberty Tavern boasts great cocktails, great food, and exceptional service. We are searching for a committed social media manager to join our growing brand.

Key Duties
Social Media and Digital Marketing

  • Create various forms of social media content—text captions, videos, and images—suitable for the various social media platforms.
  • Establish a social media content calendar
  • Increase consumer engagement across all social media platforms, hit and exceed KPIs
  • Build a database of influencers for all product categories and customers, build relationships and keep influencers engaged
  • Recognize and report on the impacts of social media and digital marketing on sell-through

Wider Marketing Responsibilities

  • Produce and manage various types of high-quality videos and images for use on social media and across all areas of marketing
  • Liaise with the Sales Team and provide marketing support to B2B customers, including the supply of marketing material, publications and announcements.
  • Ensure the marketing documents folder is up to date and has an accurate historical record of actioned activities for future reference.
  • Attend all meetings relevant to the role and capture notes and actions
  • Keep the marketing budget accurate and up to date and ensure all purchases are approved by manager

Collaboration with Brand Team

  • Management of marketing content across multiple brands
  • Incorporate brand voice and identity in digital content
  • Ensure that every piece of content is relevant and helps the company maximize engagement, reach, and sell-through
  • Be a brands champion and ensure consistency in accordance with brand guidelines and messaging across all channels

Key Performance Indicators
Social Media and Digital Marketing

  • 5-10% monthly increase in followers across each platform
  • 3-6% monthly increase in engagement across each platform
  • 10% monthly increase in reach/impressions across each platform
  • 5 new influencers added to our database per week
  • 24-48 hour turnaround time on all content

Wider Marketing Responsibilities

  • 8 high-quality product or client videos created per month, more as needed
  • 25 high-quality product images taken and edited per week, more as needed

The Requirements

  • Marketing / Business Degree (desired but not essential)
  • Previous experience in marketing role
  • Previous restaurant (social media/manager) experience preferred
  • Deep knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategy
  • Ability to work with creative tools like Adobe, Microsoft365, and Canva
  • Extensive knowledge and proven experience in creating engaging content on different social media platforms— Facebook, Instagram, Etc.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently. Prepared to learn and willing to seek advice
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Prompt execution of projects and tasks, and prompt response to email and phone calls
