Broadway Golf Club is coming to life this summer! Located in the heart of South Boston, Broadway Golf Club is Boston’s premier indoor golf club, featuring 6 Trackman simulator bays and a craft cocktail bar and lounge. We are excited to build our team in preparation for opening our doors to the community.
The bar team and support staff will be the heart and soul of the service we provide. We are looking for passionate individuals who can deliver warm and genuine hospitality in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and who care about doing it the right way.
We are hiring for all positions (full & part-time) including bartenders, barbacks, cocktail servers, hosts, door persons, and golf support staff. The right candidate will have an interest in golf culture, previous experience in the hospitality industry, and possess solid beer, wine, and spirits knowledge.
Responsibilities: (some but not limited to)
- Bartenders/barbacks:
- Prepare and serve a diverse selection of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wine and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Prep juices and syrups daily.
- Interact with guests, take orders, and provide excellent service.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
- Check identification.
- Handle all financial transactions and process payments accurately.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform inventory and stocking duties.
- Change kegs.
- Care about the product you are putting out.
- Cocktail Servers:
- Greet guests and guide them to their tables.
- Take drink orders and deliver beverages promptly.
- Provide attentive service throughout guests’ dining experience.
- Assist bartenders as needed.
- Ensure a clean and inviting simulator bay area.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues professionally.
- Genuinely like people.
- Golf Support Staff:
- Greet guests as our “starter” and guide them to their simulator bays and through their experience.
- Support groups in navigating the Trackman interface.
- Provide clubs as needed.
- Troubleshoot technical and A/V issues.
- Ensure all clubs are in good working order and reset between groups.
- Generally support the golf side of the operation.
Qualifications: (including but not limited to)
- Previous experience as a bartender or server preferred (for Bar Staff).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of drink recipes and basic mixology.
- Must be at least 21 years old (for Bartenders).
- Must have basic POS (Toast) knowledge.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment providing courteous service and engaging the guests in conversation.
- Must be available days & nights in addition to weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Comfortable standing and being on your feet for multiple hours
