Eastern Standard Kitchen and Drinks has returned to the Boston restaurant scene and is looking for talented bartenders to round out the team. Restaurateur Garrett Harker, best known for Eastern Standard, Island Creek Oyster Bar and The Hawthorne, is once again bringing enlightened hospitality and high energy operations to the Fenway neighborhood. Garrett is joined by Beverage Director Jackson Cannon in the operation of ES and two other concepts.
About The Position:
Eastern Standard is seeking Bartenders for both LUNCH and DINNER shifts who are eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, remain constantly curious about all things food & beverage and work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a bartender you’ll be on the front line representing the Eastern Standard and the ES Hospitality brand. You’ll be responsible for selling and serving food and beverages to guests in a kind and professional manner, providing a memorable dining experience and ensuring repeat business through stylish execution of cocktail, wine, and beer service. We are proud of the level of hospitality and culture of education we’ve always been known for. As a bartender at ES you will have the opportunity to continue to learn and grow professionally alongside colleagues that take pride in what they do.
Ideal candidates will:
- Guide guest experiences from start to finish, taking orders, serving food and drink and enthusiastically representing Eastern Standard and ES Hospitality as a whole
- Seek to make meaningful connections with guests in a fast-paced environment
- Possess solid bartending experience and cocktail knowledge, coupled with an eagerness to continue to learn and develop
- Commit to continuous development of food, wine, beer, spirits, and service knowledge
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Have day, evening and weekend availability
