Bostonia Public House is seeking professional, dependable, and guest-focused Door Security team members to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. Located in the heart of downtown Boston, Bostonia is a high-energy restaurant and bar known for exceptional hospitality and vibrant nightlife.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entrance and exit areas to ensure guest and staff safety
- Check IDs and enforce Massachusetts liquor laws
- Maintain crowd control during busy service hours and special events
- Handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Work closely with management to ensure a safe atmosphere
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Assist with nightly security procedures
Qualifications
- Previous security, hospitality, nightclub, or related experience preferred
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays
