This is a unique opportunity to join James Beard award-winner Chef Tim Cushman and his small team of dedicated chefs at their flagship contemporary Japanese restaurant in Boston.
o ya is hiring motivated and humble professional cooks who are eager to learn the art of sushi from a cadre of talented chefs. Candidates must be serious about career and food, ego-free, dependable and have a consistent genuinely positive attitude. An ideal team member is precise, extremely organized and takes direction well. Refined food preparation and 2 years of fine dining line experience is preferred, though not required.
This is a position that combines the exacting science of fish fabrication and sushi preparation with the elegance and speed of fine dining service. Advanced knife skills and cleanliness will be required.
Position is full time; o ya is open Tuesday through Saturday for dinner service only.
