Overview
We are on the lookout for an energetic and talented Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Lola 42. This role involves overseeing all kitchen operations, crafting exceptional menus, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for innovative cuisine, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience in fine dining, catering, or restaurant management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the kitchen team in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that meet our standards for flavor, presentation, and consistency.
  • Develop and refine menus that reflect global influences while catering to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including shift scheduling, inventory control, and food safety compliance.
  • Supervise food production processes, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health regulations.
  • Mentor and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.
  • Monitor food handling practices and implement safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a senior culinary leadership role within fine dining or hospitality settings.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques across various cuisines and dietary requirements.
  • Strong background in supervising teams, managing inventories, and controlling costs effectively.
  • Experience with menu planning, food service management, and catering operations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work culture.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards, inventory management systems, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
  • A passion for culinary innovation combined with a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
