The longest day of the year deserves more than just a sunset selfie. At 80 Thoreau, chef Gavin Lambert is celebrating the official arrival of summer with a special four-course Summer Solstice Tasting Menu running from Tuesday, June 23rd through Friday, July 3rd.
The lineup is still in the works, so keep an eye on their Facebook and Instagram pages, but you can expect lots of goodies from Lambert’s favorite local farms like grilled green garlic, salt-baked baby beets and blistered brassicas plated up with sustainably harvested seafood. And of course there will be plenty of fresh berries and tasteful pours from the wine cellar. Dinner costs $95 per person, which is definitely a steal because timeslots are already selling out!
