Attention to detail and a proven track record are paramount for this role. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing a kitchen in fine dining establishments, with a deep understanding of Michelin standards and Forbes training being highly preferable. A keen eye for quality, a flair for innovation, and the ability to lead by example in a demanding culinary environment are attributes of the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities:
As the Chef de Cuisine, you will be instrumental in the success of our kitchen operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing the kitchen team to ensure the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Overseeing all aspects of food preparation, including butchery, grilling, and sautéing, to deliver a memorable dining experience.
  • Collaborating with the Executive Chef to develop and execute seasonal menus that showcase the finest locally sourced ingredients.
  • Managing inventory, ordering, and cost control measures to optimize food and labor costs while maintaining quality.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and upholding sanitation standards at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a high-volume, upscale dining establishment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A passion for culinary excellence and creativity, with a focus on delivering memorable dining experiences.
  • Knowledge of steakhouse cuisine and techniques is preferred.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification is a plus.
