Field & Vine – Sous Chef

Field & Vine, a neighborhood restaurant in Union Square, Somerville, is seeking a Sous Chef. We have a commitment to local farms and purveyors. All of our ingredients are sustainably sourced and the menu evolves with the changing of New England’s seasons. We make everything by hand from scratch and take a simple approach to our food, allowing the ingredients to speak for themselves.

Applicants should demonstrate an excitement and curiosity for ingredients and techniques, be values driven, and a team player. Leading with kindness and enthusiasm is important to us. We operate in an open kitchen and this role will include guest interaction and an understanding of inclusive hospitality. Ideal candidates will have prior kitchen management experience or a minimum of 3 years kitchen experience.
