Prima – Broiler Cook

Prima, a swanky new Italian steakhouse concept in Charlestown opened by the teams behind Monument Restaurant & Tavern and Capo South Boston, is looking for hard working, enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals to join our BOH team! We are a high-volume neighborhood restaurant serving rustic Italian, housemade pasta, luxury cuts of steak and chops, and creative cocktails, beer, and wine.

Broiler Cook 

We are looking for a seasoned, full time cook with experience cooking a variety of steaks and cuts. Butchery and steakhouse experience not required but encouraged. Open availability for the later half of the week and through the weekend is required to cover peak volume times. Great team, kitchen design and product!

Responsibilities include:

  • station maintenance during service and breakdown while following food quality and sanitation standards of the executive chef
  • open schedule availability Wednesday through Sunday, 3pm to 12am.
  • cooking steaks to desired temperatures in a timely manner
  • friendly and efficient communication with rest of the kitchen team
  • professional and clean demeanor while on stage (working the station in an open kitchen in the public eye)
