La Brasa – Line Cooks

La Brasa, a renowned restaurant located in Somerville, is seeking highly skilled and experienced Line Cooks to join our talented culinary team. We take pride in delivering exceptional dining experiences, and we’re looking for individuals who share our commitment to excellence.

As a Line Cook, you’ll be instrumental in bringing our culinary vision to life. Working closely with our Sous Chef and culinary team, you’ll showcase your culinary skills while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing ingredients and executing recipes according to our established standards.
  • Operating various kitchen equipment and ensuring proper food handling and sanitation.
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of exceptional dishes.
  • Assisting with inventory management, organization, and cleanliness of the kitchen.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working as a Line Cook in a high-volume, upscale restaurant.
  • Culinary degree or diploma from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, flavors, and plating.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
