Meet Chef Edy Massih in the Seaport

Edy's Grocer

Get your hands on some of the first copies of chef Edy Massih’s forthcoming cookbook Keep It Zesty on Wednesday, May 29th when he pops up at Chickadee to share some of his Lebanese-inspired recipes. The Greenpoint, Brooklyn-based caterer and owner of Edy’s Grocer will be in the Seaport for an evening to talk about his life growing up in a small fishing village in Lebanon, how his teitas (grandmothers) taught him to roll garlic labneh balls and bind homemade kibbeh by hand, and starting his business in 2016.

Grab tickets here for $60 for the meet and greet (plus a small fee), which includes two drinks and some special snacks from Chef Edy’s Brown Bag Board prepared by chef John DaSilva’s crew from 6:00 to 8:00pm. For an extra $25 you can add a signed copy of the book, which will be released on Tuesday, May 21st – hot off the presses! The pop-up will be held in the bar area of the restaurant inside the Innovation and Design Building, which has pretty limited space, so be sure to snag your seats ASAP. If you have any Qs give them a call at 617.531.5591 and be sure to follow Edy’s Grocer on Insta for updates on Massih’s book touring adventures.
