black & blue Steak and Crab is looking for an Executive Chef at our second location in the Wellesley, MA area opening soon.

- Excellent teaching and coaching abilities – a natural leader, while still a team player
- Provide ongoing training and support to food operations in the areas of preparation, service execution, purchasing, cost controls, labor controls, and sanitation
- Appear polished and professional at all times, yet approachable to staff members and guests
- Have a sincere passion about food, wine, and beverages
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Associate Culinary Degree from accredited Culinary School with a minimum of 5 years working as an Executive Chef
- Experience within a high-volume, fine dining restaurant, hotel or other F&B unit
- Advanced knowledge of restaurant service team roles
- Advanced culinary knowledge, and food preparation
- Excellent beverage knowledge — including beer, wine and spirits
- Computer Skills/Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
- Ability to work full-time (45-50 hours weekly – days, nights and weekends)
