We are seeking hospitality-driven Food Runners who are energetic, team-oriented, and take pride in delivering an exceptional guest experience. Food Runners play an important role in keeping service running smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining room quickly, accurately, and professionally
- Ensure food reaches the correct table and guest
- Communicate effectively with servers, chefs, managers, and other members of the service team
- Learn and demonstrate knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and common allergens
- Assist servers throughout service to ensure a smooth guest experience
- Anticipate the needs of guests and the service team
- Clear and reset tables as needed
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked service areas
- Assist wherever needed to support the team during busy services
- Uphold Sonsie’s high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism
What We’re Looking For
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
- Strong work ethic and a positive, team-first attitude
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Dependable, energetic, and willing to jump in wherever needed
- Willingness to learn and develop strong menu knowledge
- Ability to work well with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
