Buttermilk & Bourbon, Chef Jason Santos’ New Orleans–inspired restaurant, is looking for friendly, organized, fast-paced Hosts to be the first impression of our Watertown dining room. If you’re upbeat, confident, and great with people, this is a strong fit.
What You’ll Do
- Greet each guest warmly and set the tone for their experience.
- Manage the reservation book, walk-ins, and waitlist with accuracy and urgency.
- Control pacing and flow—seat strategically, communicate delays, and stay in sync with servers and MODs.
- Communicate 86s, table status, and special requests effectively.
- Answer phones, take messages, and support to-go orders during busy windows.
- Maintain a clean, organized host stand and lobby area.
- Support team needs—water runs, check-backs, menus, clearing small items, etc.
- Deliver hospitality with consistency, even during rushes.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior host or FOH experience is preferred, but strong customer-service backgrounds will be considered.
- A naturally warm, upbeat personality with a polished presence.
- Strong multitasking skills—calm, organized, and able to handle high-volume traffic.
- Confident communicator who can set guest expectations clearly and professionally.
- Quick learner who can adapt to seating charts, service pacing, and restaurant flow.
- Weekend/night availability required.
