Ironwood Hingham, located at the South Shore Country Club in Hingham, MA, is seeking an energetic and motivated Front of House Supervisor to help lead our restaurant operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, supporting the team, creating exceptional guest experiences, and helping ensure smooth daily operations. While the primary focus is restaurant operations, the role will also provide occasional support for private events, golf tournaments, and member functions throughout the year. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who can motivate a team, maintain high service standards, and remain calm and organized during busy service periods.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous restaurant leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of restaurant service standards and guest relations
- Ability to lead by example and motivate a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day supervision of restaurant operations
- Support and coach servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences through active floor presence
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Address guest concerns professionally and proactively
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and service standards throughout the restaurant
- Assist with training and development of team members
- Support management with scheduling, operational projects, and service initiatives
