
Brodie’s, Palm & Crane, and The Suites Downtown are three hospitality-driven concepts under one roof in the heart of downtown Peabody. Brodie’s is a neighborhood restaurant known for great food, cocktails, and a welcoming atmosphere. Palm & Crane is our second-floor cocktail lounge and private event space. The Suites Downtown is home to beauty, wellness, and creative entrepreneurs in private suites.
We are looking for an organized, hospitality-minded Operations & Hospitality Manager to help support the day-to-day flow of the building, restaurant operations, events, team communication, and overall guest experience.
Position Overview
The Operations & Hospitality Manager will play a key role in keeping the building running smoothly across all three concepts. This person will support restaurant and lounge operations, assist with private and public events, help manage communication between teams, and ensure the guest, tenant, and staff experience is consistent, polished, and professional.
This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, calm under pressure, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Restaurant & Lounge Operations
- Support daily operations for Brodie’s and Palm & Crane
- Assist managers and ownership with service flow, staffing needs, reservations, guest experience, and floor support
- Help ensure standards are being followed for service, cleanliness, timing, uniforms, and hospitality
- Communicate with FOH, BOH, bar, and management team to keep operations aligned
- Assist with opening, closing, and event transitions as needed
- Identify operational issues and help create solutions
Events & Guest Experience
- Support private events, public events, activations, and brand programming
- Assist with event setup, floor plans, timelines, vendor communication, and guest flow
- Be present during key events to ensure execution is smooth and professional
- Help communicate event details to staff and managers before each event
- Support follow-up with event guests, vendors, and internal teams as needed
- Maintain a high standard of hospitality from inquiry through execution
The Suites Downtown Support
- Act as a professional point of contact for suite tenants when needed
- Help maintain common areas, building standards, and overall tenant experience
- Support suite tours, move-ins, basic tenant communication, and building needs
- Communicate maintenance, cleanliness, or operational concerns to ownership
- Help create a welcoming, polished environment for entrepreneurs, clients, and guests
Administrative & Communication
- Keep ownership and management updated on operational needs, staffing concerns, event details, and building issues
- Assist with schedules, checklists, internal communication, and event notes
- Help organize systems that improve day-to-day flow across the building
- Support vendor relationships, ordering coordination, and follow-through on operational tasks
- Maintain professionalism and discretion when handling staff, tenant, and guest matters
Ideal Candidate
- Hospitality or restaurant management experience
- Event coordination or private dining experience is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and high-volume events
- Positive attitude with a solutions-focused mindset
- Professional, polished, and guest-focused
- Able to lead by example and support a team without ego
- Comfortable working across multiple concepts and shifting priorities

Requirements
- Prior restaurant, hospitality, events, or operations experience
- Weekend and nighttime availability required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to be on your feet and active during service/events
- Reliable, professional, and accountable
- Must be comfortable working closely with ownership, managers, staff, tenants, vendors, and guests
Compensation
Compensation: $65,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience.
