
Sonsie, a long-standing Back Bay restaurant known for exceptional hospitality, lively energy, and an iconic Newbury Street atmosphere, is seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team.
We are looking for a hospitality professional who leads by example, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of creating memorable guest experiences while supporting a strong team culture.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily front-of-house operations during service
- Lead, coach, and motivate staff to maintain Sonsie’s service standards
- Assist with floor management, guest relations, and problem resolution
- Ensure smooth communication between FOH and BOH teams
- Help oversee opening/closing procedures and side work completion
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professionalism throughout the restaurant
- Support training and development of team members
- Uphold hospitality standards and create a positive guest experience
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Hands-on leadership style with strong floor presence
- Passion for hospitality and teamwork
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
