Bartender – The Bottle Shop & Red’s | Beverly, Ma
Part-Time | Thursday–Saturday | 5PM–Midnight
The Bottle Shop is expanding! We are seeking a part-time bartender to join us for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening service.
Responsibilities:
- Attentive beverage service across wine, spirits, and beer
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout each shift
- Nightly bar operations: pacing, guest experience, and floor presence
- Lead by example behind and in front of the bar
- Develop fluency in the beverage program and actively support retail conversion, guests who discover something at the bar should be guided toward taking it home
- Uphold service standards, cleanliness, and consistency across all shifts
- Build relationships with regulars and establish a culture of return visits
- Support private events, make retail sales
- Ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations and local health codes
- Build genuine relationships with guests and contribute to a culture of repeat business
- Handle opening and closing bar duties with consistency and care
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years bartending experience in a bar, wine bar, or comparable hospitality setting
- Working knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer, low-intervention wine familiarity a plus
- Ability to work independently and maintain a professional, composed floor presence
- Genuine hospitality instincts and strong communication skills
- TIPS certification preferred; ServSafe a plus
- Thursday through Saturday evening availability required
