Florenza, a busy modern Italian café and restaurant in East Boston, is hiring an experienced and dependable full-time Breakfast Line Cook to join our kitchen team.
We are looking for someone who works cleanly, moves with urgency, and can consistently prepare high-quality breakfast items in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable handling multiple orders during busy morning service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute breakfast menu items accurately and efficiently
- Cook breakfast sandwiches, meats, potatoes, and other café-style breakfast items
- Complete daily prep and maintain proper station setup
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation
- Follow all food-safety and sanitation procedures
- Communicate effectively with kitchen management and front-of-house staff
- Assist with receiving, storage, cleaning, and other kitchen duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous breakfast, brunch, diner, café, or line-cook experience preferred
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality or consistency
- Dependable and punctual, especially for early-morning shifts
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
