Get Savvy About Sake

Sake Sommeliers Nancy Cushman and Alyssa DiPasquale are getting back to basics with two upcoming tastings at the spring Sake School at O Ya. Sign on for either of the educational afternoons to learn from these two masters, both of whom have completed the highest level Sake Professional Course Certification in Japan. On Saturday, March 15th they’ll be pairing artisanal sake offerings with signature dishes from chef Tim Cushman’s menu in Sake 101. And then on Saturday, June 14th, they’ll be sharing their expertise on unpasteurized sake over a few more plates in Namazake 101. Both classes start at 2:00pm on their respective Saturdays, so consult your calendar and sign up for whichever one strikes your fancy (or both).
