Check Out Mamaleh’s Kibitz Corner

If you could use a little more Mamaleh’s in your life (and really, who couldn’t?), get ready for the grand opening of Mamaleh’s Kibitz Corner in Cambridge on Friday, April 26th and Saturday, April 27th, which conveniently happens to land just in time for Passover.

The new space at 233 Cardinal Medeiros Avenue fills the void left by the closure of Vincent’s, and promises to be a new kind of public space where people can gather, connect, and ‘kibitz’ at special events, private parties, or an upcoming weekend lunch counter (“kibitz” in Yiddish means a casual chit chat, hang, or conversation with friends, btw).

There’s room for 10 to 60 people inside, which makes it a great spot to gather for everything from book readings to baby showers, plus Big Dipper Hospitality (Mamaleh’s and State Park’s parent company) will be turning the kitchen into a test space for new recipes and technology. There are also plans to possibly use the setup to let local startups host their own pop-ups. If you’re looking for the perfect spot to host an event, you can reach out to them here.

If this all sounds like a good time, and you’d like to get a look at the space for yourself save yourself a spot at Mamaleh’s First Annual Passover Dinner on Friday, April 26th or Saturday, April 27th between 6:00 and 8:30pm. You’ll get a prix fixe four-course feast that covers the seder bases, including matzah ball soup, gefilte fish, braised brisket, and more (check out the menu below), and there’ll be lots of a la carte drinks for sipping. The Passover Dinner costs $72 for adults and $36 for kids under 10 and you can snag your spots here.

Be sure to follow Mamaleh’s and Big Dipper on their respective Instas to keep up with all the events, and get ready to have a Chag Sameach!
