On Monday, November 14th, you can get a taste of Indonesia when Kaki Lima pops up at Masa in the South End. In their last appearance of the season (before a winter away in Indonesia) wife Retno Pratiwi and husband Pete Gelling are bringing their signature cuisine to the Southwestern restaurant. The evening starts with cocktails at 6:00pm before a 7:00pm dinner of plates like grilled chicken with lemongrass and tamarind, or herb salad with toasted coconut and shrimp. Tickets are available here for $60 each, including the multi-course menu below. Beer, wine and cocktails will be available from the Masa cash bar and the fun continues past dessert with a post-dinner party DJ’ed by Ryan Brown (9:00-10:30pm). Pick up a ticket online here or call Masa at 617.338.8884 with questions.
