It’s all well and good to treat your mom (or grandma or the mother of your children) like a queen for Mother’s Day, but the folks at Babbo are taking it one step (many steps, really) further. Throughout the weekend – that’s both Saturday May 13th and Sunday, May 14th – the Seaport spot will be supporting mothers worldwide by contributing to Every Mother Counts’ Orange Rose Campaign. Chef Mario LaPosta is adding an Orange Rose dish to the menu (a golden beet and goat cheese cappellacci with orange and fennel pollen) and donating the proceeds it generates to support Every Mother Counts’ mission to ensure maternal health and safe childbirth around the globe. All you have to do to do your part is order a delicious plate of pasta.
