Eight Course Sake Dinner

Sake doesn’t always get the respect it deserves. But it’s getting its due at Uni on Monday, July 24th. Chef Tony Messina is working on a spectacular eight-course, sake-friendly meal in partnership with the folks from Joto Sake. Owner Henry Sidel has made it his mission to demystify sake for consumers in the U.S., which he does by partnering multi-generational, family-owned breweries and importing their small-batch sakes with English-language labels that include producer names, locations and helpful tasting notes. Folks from the Joto team will be on hand with to walk guests through each pairing during this unparalleled celebration of the Japanese spirit. Dinner begins at 6:00pm and will run $200.
