If you want something hearty, Trade is offering a Bulgar Bowl with buttered chickpeas, eggplant, spicy feta stuffed peppers, squash salad, cumin labneh and sesame or head to Para Maria to try the Mojo Heirloom Cauliflower with potato and sweet plantain mash, spiced yogurt, crispy garbanzo beans and avocado. And if you’re steering clear of meat and gluten, Rail Stop’s risotto can be made gluten-free and vegan so you can enjoy all the creamy carnaroli rice.

GF pasta lovers, do not fear there’s plenty of options sans gluten. South End Buttery is offering eggplant parm with local mozzarella, marinara, basil, and spaghetti (with gluten-free noodles available). Il Massimo is serving up their Spaghettoni alla Carbonara with guanciale, raw farm eggs, pecorino romano and black pepper available GF. And Antico Forno is offering both GF and vegan options, so you can head to the North End for a full Italian meal and finish it off with their flourless GF chocolate cake.

If you’re looking to really treat yourself, some restaurants are pouring all kinds of wine to pair with your meal (for an additional price). Atlantic Fish has two glasses (one white and one red) available by the glass and Banks Fish House has a few suggested pairings to go with your seafood-centric meal. If you’re in the market for a boozy lunch, Hourly Oyster House has a suggested wine pairing for each course of their two-course lunch menu.
