If you’re looking for some extra bonus deals during this year’s winter installment of Restaurant Week Boston (aka Dine Out Boston), there’s a whole bunch (a baker’s dozen to be exact!) of restaurants that are unofficially participating in the two-weeks of promotions. You can find a few different price points, a slew of cuisines and exclusive deals you won’t want to miss.
For some barbeque, you can head to any of the five locations of The Smoke Shop for lunch or dinner to get your fix of pulled, smoked and fried meats. Check out one of chef Will Gilson’s restaurants including Geppetto for some classic Italian and homemade pasta, Puritan & Co. for seafood or their sister next door, Puritan Oyster Bar for bites like lobster rolls and banana cake. If you’ve been wanting to try Table Boston in the North End, they’re offering a special $65 four-course menu Wednesday through Saturday and a $55 four-course menu for Sunday Supper. Or stay out of the city and head to La Gallina in Lynnfield or Aquitaine Chestnut Hill (Aquitaine South End is also serving a special RWB menu). For fans of Viale, the Central Square spot is offering a $48 three-course meal from their regular menu, so you can get all your faves. Or have a cozy meal in the South End at Metropolis and enjoy dishes like asparagus & goat cheese tart and blueberry cobbler.
