Boston Magazine hosts two nights of incredible eats at the Cruiseport Boston. First up, there’s The Cue on Tuesday, August 15th, a big ol’ barbecue festival, now in its fourth year. Restaurants from all over Greater Boston are putting their best ‘cue forward, bringing you the very best grilled, braised and cured dishes they have to offer. Look for contenders like ArtBar, Area Four, Babbo Pizzeria, Bronwyn, Coppersmith, Lincoln Tavern & Restaurant, Sweet Cheek’s BBQ, The Smoke Shop BBQ, North Square Oyster, The Table at Season to Taste and Woods Hill Table. Enjoy food from over 25 vendors along with live music and complimentary cocktails. The event begins at 7:00pm (6:00pm for VIPs) and runs $75 ($110 for VIPs).
The following night, Wednesday, August 16th, you can head right back to the Seaport for the sixth annual Battle of the Burger. Hosted by Sweet Cheeks and Tiger Mama chef-owner Tiffani Faison and emceed by radio personality Jason Rossi, this event features over two dozen of Boston’s best burgers squaring off for total beef (and bun!) supremacy. Don’t miss offerings from the likes of Bostonia Public House, Bristol Restaurant and Bar, Chopps American Bar and Grill, OAK Long Bar, Post 390, Precinct and Top of the Hub among many others, all of which will be available starting at 7:00pm (6:00pm for VIPs). Tickets run $110 ($140 for VIPs).
