Located in Boston’s historic North End, North Square Oysters is an American seafood restaurant focused on creative, New England fare with a strong emphasis on seasonality. Owner Nicholas Frattaroli (also of Ward 8) blends history with modern day at North Square Oyster through its rustic yet fresh décor and New England-inspired yet chef-driven menu.
Helmed by Chef Douglas Rodrigues, North Square Oyster offers a wide variety of raw bar options, hot and cold small plates, large-format entrees, sandwiches, and desserts. The beverage program, overseen by Beverage Manager Mike Wyatt, offers local, New England-based spirits, craft beers, seafood-friendly wines, and classic martini service.
North Square Oyster’s two-floor space, overlooking historic North Square, features seating for 100, including 13 at its two bars. The first floor evokes an airy, café feel with crisp, light walls while the moodier upstairs is reminiscent of colonial New England.
