Say Bonjour to Josephine

Kenmore Square gets a piece of Paris with the imminent opening of restauranteur Samuel Gosselin’s Josephine, Restaurant Parisien. The restaurant, named for Gosselin’s Parisian mother, will offer a boutique menu of updated Gallic classics. Consulting chef Stefano Quaresima (formerly of Petit Robert, South End) and chef du cuisine Nick Oldham (formerly of Eastern Standard) have put a modern spin on French dishes like roasted duckling breast, sausage-stuffed squid and pan-seared shrimp with marinated leek fondue. Sommelier Laure Azema has offered her expertise to craft a French-only wine list for pairing with the plates. Together with general manager Sam Wolf (formerly of Bistro du Midi), the Josephine team has transplanted Seine-side dining to the center of the city. Keep an eye on Josephine for opening updates and prepare to say bonjour.
