The French Quarter comes to Harvard Square with Mardi Gras beads, bites and brass on Tuesday, February 9th. As part of their 3rd annual Le Mardi Gras Carnival, Beat Brasserie will be serving an exclusive Cajun-inspired menu of dishes like gumbo, grits, jumbalaya and more. The a la carte plates can be enjoyed at community-style tables where guests can jive to the live music sets. Alex Lee Clark takes the stage at 5:00pm with his trumpet then passes the mic to One Finger Down at 7:30pm for second line brass led by trombonist Clayton Dewalt. The music grooves until 11:30pm, no cover necessary. Call 617.499.0001 to make a reservation for the revelry.
