Big Queer Food Fest

Big Queer Food Fest

Fill your belly and support the fam on Sunday, April 28th when the Big Queer Food Fest rolls into town for a night at High Street Place. The downtown food hall is getting a little extra fabulous from 5:00 to 8:00pm to show some love to the local LGBTQ+ food community, including tastes and talks with an impressive lineup of local and regional celebrity queer chefs including Tiffani Faison, Kareem Queeman, Karen Akunowicz, Tatiana Rosana, Michele Ragussis, and Robert Gonzalez, and there’ll be something for any queer food lover (or ally) to enjoy.

Snag tickets here for $50 each, and make your way downtown in the evening for lots of snacks, celebrating, and sips from Provincetown Brewing and SUPERGAY Vodka. The event is a part of the On the Road series of food-focused events with LGBTQ+ chefs across the country, and you can check out more about that mission here including a major festival happening in Los Angeles in spring 2025. This year’s fest in The Hub also happens to coincide with Boston University’s Queer Food Conference, which has all sorts of panels, roundtables, and workshops to check out, including a visit from noted food journalist John Birdsall. If you want a deeper dive into the queer food scene you can grab tickets for the conference here (both in-person and virtual) and then head off to the Fest in the evening — it’s all the representation a foodie could ask for in one weekend. Be sure to follow the roving Fest on Instagram or Facebook for updates, and snag some commemorative merch on their website here.
