Boston gets Bespoke. On Saturday, April 8th, Cochon555 and the Piggy Bank Charity are partnering with the Oxford Food Symposium on Food and Cookery for a day of culinary conversation deemed Bespoke: A Cold Brew-Fueled Exploration of Taste & Thought. The debut conference takes place from 9:00am to 2:30pm (breakfast and lunch included) with keynote speakers Dr. Amy Trubek, a Oxford symposiast who also owns a working cidery and farm, and Adam Sharp, formerly Twitter’s first Head of News. After the speakers, Trubek will lead a panel discussion on power, labor, diversity and class in the hospitality sphere, followed by break-out groups and a Glenfiddich Scotch tasting to finish. Tickets for the day are $70 each, available online here and proceeds will benefit Piggy Bank and American Friends of the Oxford Symposium on Food & Cookery.
Those who want to keep the Bespoke-ness going can opt for weekend packages that include access to a collaborative multi-course dinner from top Boston chefs on the evening of the 8th and VIP benefits for Cochon555’s tasting extravaganza on Sunday, the 9th (details here). Tickets are available online here.
