Pastry chef Robert Differ is adding a chilly touch to the Bar Boulud menu for the summer season. In honor of National Ice Cream Month (July, FYI), Differ is debuting frozen treats to keep you cool. The Back Bay Sundaes come in three varieties—chocolate-lovers can choose between the Hazelnut Rocher (hazelnut gelato, Nutella, Chantilly cream) and the Mint Chocolate Cookie (mint chocolate cookie ice cream, chocolate sauce, chocolate wafers, whipped cream), while fruit-fanatics can feast on the Strawberry Shortcake (strawberry ice cream, vanilla sable, marshmallow).
