Bacon and Beer – They’re Here All Week

Perhaps you’ve heard rumblings about the upcoming Bacon & Beer Festival. Tickets for this year’s event, which is scheduled for Saturday, April 28th, will go on sale to subscribers to the Eat Boston email list on April 5th and then to the general public on April 6th. Priced at $37 per person, they’re expected to go quickly – last year they were gone in two minutes flat. Don’t despair though – plenty of porky goodness can still be yours even if you don’t get a golden ticket. There’s a bacon and beer harbor cruise, a bacon and beer-themed Chef Louie Night, a bacon and beer-based art show and, thanks to a collaboration between Eat Boston and BostonChefs.com, a full seven days of bacon and beer tastings, specials and parings at Bacon & Beer Week. Spots like Franklin Southie, UpStairs on the Square and Poe’s Kitchen at the Rattlesnake (and maybe even a food truck or two) are getting in on the fun and offering up their own edible tributes to this delightful pairing. See all the details by visiting www.BaconAndBeerWeek.com and then call the individual restaurants for reservations.
