197 East Main Posts the Perfect Pictures

The menu at 197 East Main, one of Gloucester’s and BostonChefs’ most recent restaurant additions, reflects chef/owner Nick Speros’s sense of humor as much as it does his culinary style. Who else would call his pan roasted chicken with fingerling potatoes, “chicken fingers” or refer to the rib eye as the “Cadillac of beef”? He has his fun with the menu; in the kitchen Speros is all business, creating stunning dishes that reflect his own strong cultural roots as well as his innate understanding of flavors. His dishes, like the isle of rhubarb, also demonstrate a superior aesthetic that makes him a welcome addition to BostonChefs.
