Good things come to those who wait – wait for SRV to host its first ever wine dinner. On Tuesday September 12th, the South End bacaro welcomes winemaker Claudio Alonghi, of Lombardy’s esteemed Nino Negri, for dinner. Alonghi will introduce the evening’s wines while the team in the kitchen, namely chefs Michael Lombardi and Kevin O’Donnell, serves up a multi-course meal designed to complement bottles from the 100 year old vineyard, the largest producer in Valtellina.
