If you’re looking to get a little more edelweiss in your life head to Forage on Tuesday, May 7th for a four-course German wine dinner. Wine guru Stan Hilbert will take you on a tasting tour of some small producers and hidden gems, including some fabulous natural wines, and surprise — they’re not all Riesling! Check out chef Eric Cooper’s menu below, which boasts some bold bites and unexpected pairings like Turnip “Fries” with Arugula Salad, Aioli, Pine Nuts and Herbes Salees paired with 2023 Pinot Noir, Muller-Ruprect, Pfalz; and Roast Quail with Slab of Toast, Lentil Spread and Herby Onion Salad paired with 2021 Blauer Portugieser/Cabernet Franc, Brand, Pfalz.
Dinner costs $110 per person to dine in at their lovely Cambridge dining room, plus it’s patio season don’tcha know so you can do your sipping under the stars if you’d like.
