Spring is the sweetest season of the year because it means maple syrup is on the way. To celebrate the tapping of the trees up north, Café du Pays will be offering a special Sugar Shack menu from Tuesday, March 20th through Sunday, April 8th. Traditional fare including dishes like smoked head cheese with almond butter and sap-brined pork loin (available a la carte or as a prix fixe) will be served, so you can manger like you’re in Quebec. There will be an optional drink pairing add-on if you feel like making your north woods experience truly authentic. The Sugar Shack offerings will run alongside Café du Pays’ regular a la carte menu during those three weeks — don’t miss your chance to live like a lumberjack.
