Summer ain’t over until the team at Island Creek Oysters says it’s over, and they’re refusing to say goodbye to the season come Labor Day. That’s good news for oyster eaters though because every Monday from September 10th through September 24th — that’s three Mondays in total, folks — they’re hosting a seaside shindig at their newly launched outdoor raw bar in Duxbury. The evenings will kick off at 4:00pm with a cocktail hour full of passed hors d’oeuvres and oysters (which will be pulled from the bay just hours before) followed by four or five-course family-style dinners hosted by some of the top chefs around town that you know and love. Menu details will be coming soon on the @islandcreekoysters Instagram feed, so keep an eye out. Tickets are $150 per person, plus a processing fee, and include one welcome cocktail as well as wine pairings during your meal.
