If a trip to Burgundy to meet some legendary winemakers sounds like a dream come true, let chef Robert Sisca and the team at Bistro du Midi bring the experience to you on Tuesday, May 16th at 6:00pm. Jacques Prieur and Christian Moreau, the winemakers behind the legendary Burgundian Domaines of Jacques Prieur and Christian Moreau are visiting all the way from France to bring you some tastes of their handpicked single vineyard, monopole and Grand Cru bottlings, and if you love big bottles of Burgundy, this is the dinner you can’t miss.
The six-course dinner is bursting with spring veggies and luxurious ingredients, including Soft Shell Crab with jumbo white asparagus, caviar, and smoked asparagus emulsion and Hopkins Farm Lamb Loin with morel mushrooms, potato dauphinoise, pickled ramps, and jus (take a peek at the menu below). Grab a spot here; dinner costs $350 per person and includes all your food and wine pairings, plus a chance to pick the brains of some of the most influential winemakers in the business.
