Chef Karen Akunowicz and chef Carl Dooley were both on Season 13 of Top Chef, and they’ll meet again — this time under less competitive circumstances. Since the show, Akunowicz left her gig at Myers + Chang and is now preparing to open her first restaurant, Fox & the Knife, in South Boston, while Dooley went on to get The Table at Season to Taste in Cambridge up and running. On Wednesday, November 14th, the duo is pooling their culinary talent and putting together a Fox & the Knife preview menu (to give you an idea of what to expect). The five-course prix-fixe menu is $98 per person, and you can add on optional wine pairings, hand selected by The Table’s Wine Director Jesse Eslin, for an extra $55.
